ABOUT US

Through the magic of literature, pictures, reading, listening and sharing stories, More Than A Library provides a window into a world of creativity and imagination. It is also an opportunity to socialise in a safe and monitored setting – so vital in the bleak environment the children in Arsal currently find themselves in.

ABOUT US

Music therapy & education

The EDA Music Project supports Syrian refugee children in the area of Arsal (Northern Beqaa Valley) as well as vulnerable local Lebanese communities. It uses music and creative arts to address educational, physiological, psychological and social challenges for children in areas of conflict and post-conflict. The method has also been proven to help children deal with some of the more personal challenges that often accompany stress (movement, breathing, emotions, self-regulation etc.). Its starting point is in enjoyment, engagement and community.
